Women's Choir

Looking for a fun, relaxed way to enjoy singing and connect with others?

Our Women’s Choir is the perfect place for absolute beginners and amateur singers to come together in a friendly, supportive environment.

No previous experience or music reading skills required — just a love of music and a willingness to try! Together, we will:

• Explore popular songs and easy choral pieces in English and other languages

• Build vocal confidence and technique at a comfortable pace

• Enjoy the social side of singing with a diverse group of locals and expats

• Experience the joy of making music in a welcoming community

Whether you want to unwind after work, meet new people, or simply have fun singing, this choir is your space to shine.

We also organise gatherings with music bingo to socialise!

PRICES: 320 NOK per session. The first session is a trial lesson at the same cost. If you decide to stay, there is a one semester binding policy.

Your teacher: Emília Rovira Alegre​

​

Emília is the founder and director of Oslo International Piano Studio. Music has been her greatest passion since childhood. She holds degrees in Classical Piano Performance (Conservatori Superior del Liceu, Barcelona) and Music Composition (University of Edinburgh). She has released three albums, contributed to major video game soundtracks such as Lords of the Fallen and Dune: Awakening, and was nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

With over 17 years of teaching experience, Emília is passionate about making music education fun, creative, and inspiring. As a choir conductor, she brings warmth, energy, and a strong sense of community to every rehearsal, helping singers of all levels feel confident, connected, and proud of their collective voice.

Emília also leads team-building choir based activities for companies and organisations and is convinced that singing and deep listening can make the world a better place.
